Quesadilla with apples and brie cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 green apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 4 wheat tortillas (recipe corn tortillas, recipe wheat tortillas)
  • 230 g of Brie cheese, rind removed, flesh cut into slices
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 slices bacon, fried and crumbled

Preparation:

  1. Heat a grill pan to medium-high heat. Toss the apple slices with 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Add the apples to the hot pan and cook on all sides until tender and grill marks appear, 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Put tortillas Place the fried apples and brie cheese on a cutting board. Place the tortilla halves on top, then fold the tortillas in half, covering the filling.
  3. Heat the remaining olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Then add the quesadillas to the skillet and cook them one at a time until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  4. Meanwhile, mix mustard and maple syrupCut the quesadillas into slices and pour the syrup-mustard mixture over them, sprinkle with bacon on top.
