Apple sauce in 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 quartered Golden Delicious apples (peel and core)
  • 3 quartered Fuji apples (peeled and cored)
  • 1 cup unfiltered natural apple juice
  • 2 tbsp. cognac or brandy
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. In a microwave-safe plastic container, combine the apples with the other ingredients. Close the lid, leaving one corner open to allow steam to escape. Microwave on high power for 10 minutes.

    Use a blender or potato masher to achieve the desired consistency. Serve the sauce immediately while hot, or refrigerate for later use.
