Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers in an Air Fryer topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 700 g ground beef (20% fat)
- 8 slices of cheddar
- 8 slices of fried bacon
- 8 slider buns, cut in half
- 4 lettuce leaves, each leaf cut in half
- 2 plum tomatoes, cut into 8 rounds
- 1 red onion, very thinly sliced
- 0.5 tbsp. barbecue sauce
- 0.5 cups ketchup
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 0.5 cup yellow mustard
- Special equipment: air fryer
Preparation:
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.
- Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten it so that each patty is slightly wider than the bun (they should be about 1 cm thick). Make a small indentation in the center of each patty. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer. Close the air fryer and cook until the patties are golden brown and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the patty reads 145°F (65°C), 5–7 minutes.
- Place a slice of cheese and a slice of bacon on each patty and cook until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness, about 1 minute.
- Carefully remove the patties from the air fryer and place them on the bottom halves of the buns. Top each patty with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and 1 tablespoon each of barbecue sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Top with the top halves of the buns and serve.
