Grilled Hawaiian Pizza topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 450 g ready-made pizza dough, room temperature, divided into two parts (For the pizza dough recipe, see here.)
- 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 1.5 cups diced pineapple (about half a pineapple)
- 1 bunch green onions, cut into 2.5 - 5 cm sticks
- 120 g thinly sliced ham
- 3/4 tbsp. coarsely grated white cheese Cheddar (approximately 90 gr.)
- 3/4 cup coarsely grated Muenster cheese (about 90 g)
Preparation:
- Preheat the grill to medium. Form each piece of dough into a ball. Grease two baking sheets with olive oil, place a piece of dough on each sheet, and coat in oil.
- Place a fine-mesh wire grill basket (or grill basket) on the grill and brush with olive oil. Grill the pineapple, then the ham and green onions, one at a time, brushing them with olive oil as needed.
- Form each piece of dough into an oval 20 x 30 cm (8 x 12 in). Carefully transfer the dough to the grill and grill until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Flip the pizzas over, sprinkle with cheese, top with ham, green onions, and pineapple. Continue grilling until the cheese is melted and the pizzas are completely cooked through, about 6 more minutes. Transfer the pizzas to a cutting board and cut into slices.
