Bone-in pork chop with spicy orange glaze

Ingredients:

  • 4 natural pork chops on the bone (2 cm thick, approximately 200 g each)
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
  • 1 tsp finely chopped seeded chipotle pepper + 0.5 tsp adobo sauce
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, combine maple syrup, orange juice concentrate, and chipotle pepper.
  2. Heat a grill pan. Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt. Generously brush one side with glaze. Place the chops on the grill pan, glaze side down. Brush the other side with glaze.
  3. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side over medium-high heat.
