Green Gimlet Cocktail

Ingredients:

    Cocktail

  • 90 ml of green juice, recipe follows
  • 60 ml of gin
  • 15 ml syrup
  • A slice of cucumber for garnish

    Green fresh

  • 1-2 large juicy lemons, peeled and cored
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, peeled and cored
  • 2 sheets romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 large cucumber, washed
  • 1 cup spinach or kale

    Syrup

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Preparation:

  1. Combine green juice, gin, and syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds.

    SyrupIn a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water and sugar to a boil. Once the sugar has completely dissolved, remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Store, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
  2. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice.

    Using the appropriate juicer settings for each product, juice the following in this order: lemon, apple, lettuce, cucumber, and green vegetables. Serve immediately, with ice if desired.
