Sweet steamed carrots

Ingredients:

  • 450g carrots, peeled, cut in half lengthwise, then cut into 5-7cm pieces
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, plus a little extra for drizzling
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • A pinch of dried pepper flakes
  • Chopped parsley for sprinkling

Preparation:

  1. Steam the carrots until tender, about 15 minutes. Then add salt to taste.

    Meanwhile, simmer the garlic in the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and sugar for 3 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and red pepper flakes.

    Mix carrots with sweet garlic and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with parsley.
