Ingredients:
- 2 cups premium flour
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 tbsp. cumin
- 3/4 cup buttermilk or kefir
- 2 tablespoons cold butter
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Add butter to the flour mixture and knead with your hands.
Add raisins and caraway seeds. Mix with milk.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 2.5 cm. Using a 6 cm round cutter, cut out 6 muffins from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheets, slightly spaced apart.
Bake raisin muffins at 190°C for 15-20 minutes.
