Sweet and spicy carrots in an air fryer

Ingredients:

  • 450 g medium carrots, cut into 5 cm pieces.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • Special equipment: 6-liter air fryer

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine carrots with oil, sugar, salt, chili powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, if using.
  2. Place the carrots in a single layer in a 6-quart air fryer and cook at 200°C (400°F) until golden brown around the edges, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with mint and serve immediately.
