Ingredients:
- 1 large egg white
- 2/3 cup sugar
- Coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice mix or masala chai
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 3 cups mixed nuts, such as cashews, pecans, and peanuts
- 2 drops of Worcestershire sauce
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 135°C. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg white in a large bowl with 1 tablespoon of water until foamy.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar, 1.5 teaspoons salt, spice mix, and cayenne pepper. Mix the nuts with the egg white, then add the sugar-spice mix and Worcestershire sauce.
- Place the nuts in small piles on the prepared baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely, then break into pieces.
