topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 24 small pretzels
  • 12 caramel candies, preferably Kraft, unwrapped
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chunks

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a metal muffin tin with paper cups.
  2. In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, liquid smoke, and a pinch of salt. Transfer to a zip-lock bag. Snip off about 1 cm from the corner.
  3. Place 2 pretzels in the bottom of each mold. Top with 1 heaping teaspoon of peanut butter. Top with caramel and press it into the peanut butter. Bake until the caramel is melted, 8-10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Remove the dessert from the oven and drizzle each serving with about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate and a pinch of salt. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Remove from the molds and serve.
