Hot Chocolate "Landslide" with Hazelnuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup hazelnut-flavored coffee creamer
  • 220 gr. milk chocolate granules
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
  • 60 ml of whiskey, such as Woodford Reserve
  • Chocolate syrup, for serving
  • Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, for serving
  • Whipped cream, for serving
  • Chopped hazelnuts, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Pour the milk and cream into a medium saucepan and heat over low heat until the mixture is warm.
  2. Add the chocolate chips and sugar with cinnamon and stir until the chocolate melts. Once everything is combined and heated through, add the whiskey and remove from the heat.
  3. Wet the rims of two mugs with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with crushed cookies. Drizzle the syrup over the mugs and top with hot chocolate. Garnish with whipped cream and hazelnuts.
