Spicy nuts in an air fryer

Ingredients:

  • Protein of 1 large egg
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup natural almonds
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh sage
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 150°C. Beat the egg white in a medium bowl until foamy. Add the pecans and almonds; mix well. Add the thyme, sage, brown sugar, salt, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place the nuts in the air fryer basket and spread them out in an even layer. Fry, stirring once, until golden brown, about 7 minutes. Let cool completely.
