Chocolate fondue with peanut butter

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream + 0.5 cup as needed
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate granules
  • For serving: salted straws, bananas, strawberries, dark chocolate, marshmallows

Preparation:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cream and sugar and heat over low heat. When the cream is hot (do not bring to a boil), add the peanut butter and gently stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in the chocolate until completely melted.
  2. Serve immediately with any dipping accompaniments, such as pretzels, bananas, strawberries, dark chocolate, or marshmallows. If the fondue is separating, try stirring in a couple of tablespoons of cold heavy cream.
