Ingredients:
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 0.5 cup coarse salt
- 1 tbsp. ground celery seeds
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp granulated garlic
- 2.3 kg beef top round steak, cut into long thin strips
- Special equipment: dehydrator
Preparation:
- Combine sugar, salt, celery seeds, chili flakes, and garlic in a large bowl. Add the meat and stir well to coat completely. Refrigerate and marinate for 24 hours.
- Place the beef strips on dehydrator trays. Dehydrate at 125°F (51°C) for 24 hours.
