Sweet cheesecake-flavored dip

Ingredients:

  • 220 g of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 3 tbsp. l. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 1/4 cups crushed chocolate chip cookies (about 6 cookies)
  • To serve: Pretzels, pretzels, potato chips, shortbread cookies, and other sweet and salty snacks to dip into the dip.

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, mascarpone, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir with a rubber spatula until smooth. Add the crushed cookies and stir to distribute evenly. Refrigerate until ready to serve. The dip is best prepared at least 1 hour before serving. Bring to room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.
