Ingredients:
- 220 g long Chinese asparagus beans
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- A pinch of red pepper flakes
- 0.5 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. l. sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, optional
Preparation:
- Blanch the beans in a large saucepan of boiling water for 2 minutes, until slightly tender. Let cool.
- In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add the green onions, ginger, and garlic. Stir. Add the red pepper flakes and green beans. Cook for a few minutes. Add the chicken broth, honey, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add sesame seeds if desired. Stir.
