Dumplings with shrimp and green peas in Alfredo sauce topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 450 g frozen dumplings with shrimp or other seafood (16 - 20 pcs.)
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 0.5 cup frozen green peas
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese + extra for sprinkling
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation:
- Cook the dumplings in a steamer or microwave according to the package directions.
- In a large skillet, bring the cream to a simmer over high heat. Add the pierogi and cook until the cream thickens slightly, 2-3 minutes. Add the peas and cook until heated through, about 1 minute. Remove the skillet from the heat, stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. The sauce may seem thin, but it will thicken as it cools.
- Divide the dumplings and sauce among plates. Sprinkle with green onions and Parmesan.
